British counter-terrorism police have arrested five men, including four Iranian nationals, suspected of orchestrating a terrorist act, as confirmed in a statement by London’s Metropolitan Police. The arrests followed an ongoing investigation into an alleged plot to target a specific location within the United Kingdom. Authorities carried out coordinated raids across several areas on Saturday, leading to the apprehension of the suspects. Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, emphasized the rapid pace of the investigation. All five individuals remain in custody for further questioning.
