Arizona Shooting During Car Show Leaves 8 Victims, Including Siblings

A Sunday night shooting in Glendale, Arizona, left three people dead and five injured during a concert and car show at El Camaron Gigante restaurant. Officials stated that the shooting stemmed from a personal conflict and was not a random act of violence.

Tensions escalated after a fight inside the venue spilled into the parking lot, where multiple people exchanged gunfire, according to city communications manager Jose Miguel Santiago. The restaurant remained open during the incident, with over 200 attendees present.

The victims who died were a 17-year-old boy and two 21-year-old men. Officials later confirmed that two of the deceased were brothers, updating previously incorrect age details released to the public.

Among the wounded are two women aged 20 and 21, two men aged 20 and 23, and a 16-year-old boy. The teenager had surgery and is expected to recover. Police said the injuries were caused by bullets or fragments of debris.

Police responded at 7:45 p.m. and encountered a large, active crime scene. While several individuals have been detained for questioning, no arrests have been made. Notably, no officers or on-site security personnel used their firearms.

Investigators continue to analyze the number of shooters and the firearms used. This marks one of the nearly 100 mass shootings that have occurred in the U.S. in 2025, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
